Matthan Dane Brown
I’m a graphic designer with a passion for creating visually compelling work that not only looks great but also connects with people. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA from Southern New Hampshire University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design & Media Arts. My time in school was marked by consistent recognition on the President’s List and Dean’s List, and I also delved into elective courses in photography and creative writing, expanding my creative toolkit.
My design experience spans both digital and print media, and I’ve had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from social media graphics to large-format prints. I’ve worked hands-on with third-party printers, gaining a solid understanding of print production processes and ensuring that my designs come to life in the highest quality possible.
Photography has always been my creative outlet and passion project. From portraits to urban and landscape photography, to surreal and conceptual art, I use photography to explore new ideas and push my creative limits. Photoshop is a tool I’m comfortable with and constantly explore to enhance my work. Conceptualizing new ideas and finding ways to expand my workflow is something I’m always striving to do.
My creative approach is centered around finding the balance between design that captivates and evokes emotion. For me, design and photography go beyond aesthetics—they’re about sparking feelings and creating memorable experiences. Whether it’s through a brand identity, a photo, or a marketing piece, I believe design should speak to the audience and leave a lasting impact.
